“Connecting The Dots”
In January of 2014, we began a church-wide 18-month chronological journey through the Old Testament. The journey called “Connecting The Dots” consisted of daily devotions for 5 days of the week either with parents leading the devotions with their children, or with couples sharing this time together, or as a single person studying God’s Word daily. Then on Sundays, the sermons reviewed what was studied during the week. LEARN MORE
“The Dots Connected”
In September of 2015, we continued our chronological journey into the New Testament with what we called, “The Dots Connected”. Both of these studies used materials for adults and youth written by two of our pastors, Dennis Watson and Chris Watson. We used companion devotional books for children and their families by author, Marty Machowski. (Long Story Short and Old Story New). Once again, the sermons on Sundays were a review of all we had studied that week. LEARN MORE
In all of these study materials, every member of the family, regardless of age, was on the same devotion each night. It brought a cohesiveness to our church body that we have not experienced before. It is amazing what can happen when everyone is studying the same scripture at the same time for an extended period of time. God has blessed us in so many ways!
And now, in 2017 … “I Will Connect To God”
We are continuing our journey into what it means to Connect To God. This new series, “I Will Connect To God…” is once again written for adults and youth by our pastors, Dennis Watson and Chris Watson. This time, the children’s devotionals are written by our Children’s Director, Judi Knowles, and her Administrative Assistant, Jennifer Dooley. Just as before, everyone in our church body will be studying the same scripture each night and coming together on Sunday for a review of what we learned. You can pick up your free copy of the devotional by visiting the Welcome Center or you can download a digital copy below. We hope that you will join us on this journey. It doesn’t matter if you have been with us from the beginning or stepped in somewhere along the way. You will be blessed beyond measure if you will study God’s word daily and truly seek to learn more about who He is and how much he loves you and wants you to love him too.
