LIFE Classes will begin Sunday, September 12th at 5:30pm, unless otherwise noted in the class description.  Classes generally run for 13 weeks. 

ADULT CLASSES:

"FINANCIAL PEACE” – This is a video-driven study by Dave Ramsey. Find out how to: beat debt and build wealth God’s way, make a budget that you will understand and use, communicate with your spouse about finances, invest with confidence, and change your financial future. There is a member kit that goes along with this study. One kit per couple is required. The discounted cost of the kit is $45 for church members (Reg. $93.00). "EXPERIENCING GOD: Knowing and Doing the Will of God" - A study that will help Christians discover God's will and obediently follow it. Devotional activities will help participants develop an intimate relationship with God so they can know when He is speaking. This class is highly recommended. Workbook: $10.00.  "THE TRUTH PROJECT"  The Truth Project is a DVD-based small group curriculum comprised of 12 one-hour lessons taught by Dr. Del Tackett. This study is the starting point for looking at life from a biblical perspective. “ADULT CHOIR” -  For those who find it hard to rehearse with us on Wednesday evenings, there are no more excuses for not singing in the choir. This practice time is set up to give you another opportunity to join the music ministry here at Harp's and make your "joyful noise". "LIFE’S HEALING CHOICES” – A Biblical and balanced program that leads people to overcome hurts, habits, and hang-ups including alcohol and drug addiction. Based on the actual words of Jesus rather than psychological theory, this recovery ministry is very effective to transform lives into Christ-like maturity. There are two separate groups: one for men and one for women. Each group meets for worship, study, teaching/instruction, sharing and accountability each week. “A BEAUTIFUL MIND”  (LADIES CLASS) -   In this Beth Moore new series,, she covers how the enemy is out to kill and destroy us with fear. When you walk in the spirit of fear, it is the root of rejection, insecurity, and jealousy. Beth charges us to quit believing the enemy's lie that you are losing your mind. She shares her personal story of learning this important life-changing lesson. She opens up the Word and gives tools to break off and claim our right to have a beautiful and sound mind in Christ. When you walk in the victory and power of Christ, He is your constant source of stability. No matter what comes your way, Jesus is all your reason, the lover of your soul and healer of your mind. In this powerful series, you will learn to: 1. Reclaim your right in Christ to be a free, healthy, and whole person. 2. Replace your spirit of fear wtih the Spirit of Christ. 3. “BREAKING FREE - The Journey, The Stories” (LADIES CLASS) - (Updated 2009) Beth Moore leads you through a study of the Scriptures to discover the transforming power of freedom in Jesus Christ. Themes for this study come from Isaiah, a book about the captivity of God's children, the faithfulness of God, and the road to freedom.  Leaders: Pam Greenoe and Debbie May, Workbooks $9.00. "JONAH: Navigating A Life Interrupted" by Priscilla Shirer (Ladies Class) What do we do when God interrupts our lives? Many times, like Jonah, we run! In this 7-session Bible Study, Priscilla redefines interruption and shows that interruption is actually God's invitation to do something beyound our wildest dreams. When Jonah was willing to allow God to interrupt his life, the result was revival in an entire city. Leaders: Sylvia Pace & Jamie Ballard. This Class will meet on Wed. nights (6:30-8:15 pm) starting Nov. 3rd.
